Significance of Hadiths in Islam
In Islamic terms, a Hadith is a report that explains how Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) applied and explained the teachings of the Quran in daily life. While the Quran is the word of Allah, Hadiths help us understand it in practical ways. They offer important guidance on how to perform rituals, follow moral principles, and handle legal issues in Islam.
What We Offer
Level 1: Forty Hadiths with Meanings
In this level, students will memorize and understand 40 Hadiths. Memorizing these Hadiths is highly valued, and it’s believed that preserving 40 Hadiths earns the status of a faqeeh (a knowledgeable person in Islamic law). This course is ideal for kids, who are great at memorizing.
Level 2: Riyad al-Salihin
Riyad al-Salihin, compiled by Al-Nawawi, is a well-known Hadith collection. It features Quranic verses along with Hadiths, organized by topics. This course is meant for students who already know Sarf & Nahw (Arabic Grammar). If you need to learn Sarf & Nahw, please contact us for more information.
Level 3: Mishkat al-Masabih
Mishkat al-Masabih is a significant Hadith collection that predates the Six Major Hadith Collections. Compiled by Waliuddin Abu Abdullah Mahmud Al-Tabrizi, it includes details about the transmission chains, narrators, and authenticity of Hadiths. This course is for students who have a strong grasp of Sarf & Nahw and have studied basic Hadith books.
